Back to School 411 with So Cozy

With the fall season upon us, many children are gearing up to go Back To School. Between play dates, birthday parties and after school activities; kids are sharing everything from toys to crayons. Unfortunately they also share things like lice too. That is why the experts at So Cozy have created Boo! Shampoo and Boo! Leave-In Conditioner, two unique, natural lice repellents that are formulated to prevent the spread of head lice. Boo! Shampoo and Boo! Leave-In Conditioner are gentle enough for daily use and also include ingredients that add body, shine and strength to your child’s hair. Both contain the invigorating scent of fresh tea tree oil, a far cry from the medicinal smells of traditional lice defense formulas. Designed to be used together for maximum defense, the Boo! duo also provides protection from other insects such as ticks.

Boo! Shampoo (reg. $14.50): Natural lice repellants such as pure tea tree, rosemary and lavender oils are combined with good-for-you ingredients such as aloe (to soothe the scalp) and panthenol (to add body and shine). To use, simply apply a modest amount to wet hair and massage into a low lather. Leave in for up to five minutes and then rinse.

Boo! Leave-In Conditioner (reg. $14.50): Keep lice on the run with this lightweight detangling spray that combines three ingredients insects hate – tea tree, rosemary and lavender oils –with ultra-healthy ingredients such as aloe and calendula (to soothe the scalp) and wheat protein (to strengthen hair and prevent damage during blow drying). To use, lightly mist over the hair and scalp and brush or comb through. It is ideally used after washing with the Boo! Shampoo but can also be applied to dry hair while playing outdoors or anytime you want to up the line of lice defense.

Stop in a Beauty Brands location near you and purchase Boo! Shampoo and Leave-In Conditioner to ward off lice and other unwanted insects.
