For Spring and Summer 2007, beauty is defined by its sense of individuality – and its unwillingness to be defined. This is a season of free-spirited choice, both in color and fashion – it’s the time to make style your own, and to feel feminine and fabulous! Loose, fluid, romantic dresses in a variety of styles were seen everywhere on the fashion runways (often in eyelet), as was a sporty look (short skirts, polo shirts, walking shorts, linen pants), sometimes accented by stripes. For evening, simple sheath dresses in silk or chiffon and long, bare-shouldered, column dresses make a stunning statement. Oversized jewels appear on necklaces, handbags and as hair accessories.

Neutral shades of beige, white, grey and black bring a sophisticated feel to the season’s styles, with accents of bright color for fun. Also look for metallics (especially gold) to add a gleam of glamour.
